Reg 25 submission

We have submitted updated information that positively responds to requests made by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council officers in light of consultee comments provided earlier in the year. This information is publicly available in full via the Council’s online portal by inputting planning reference 23/03120/FUL.

These updates to the plans submitted in December include:

  • Reworking of Buildings 1 and 2 (closest to the left in the visualisation below) to reduce visual impact. Building 1’s footprint has been offset from the A30 by 44 metres compared to the previous proposal.
  • Additional landscape enhancements which will lead to an improvement in biodiversity and greater screening of the site.
  • Improved street lighting to ensure the pedestrian and cycle routes are adequately lit, as well as ensuring that ecological impacts are minimised.
  • Upgrading of the footway from the site entrance southwards along the A30.

Overall employment opportunities, proposed building heights and quantum of floorspace remain the same as originally submitted in December 2023.
